Ketamine Assisted Pyschotherapy
For Adults Individuals
What is Ketamine Assisted Therapy?
Ketamine-Assisted Therapy involves the use of ketamine, a dissociative anesthetic, to enhance the therapeutic process. It aims to help individuals access and process deep-seated emotions, thoughts, and experiences under the guidance of a trained therapist.

Who Prescribes the Medication?
A licensed medical provider prescribes ketamine for KAP. After the initial consultation and evaluation, the therapist will coordinate with a medical professional to ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for this treatment.
What is Your Therapist's Role?
Your therapist's role in KAP includes preparing you for the experience, guiding you through the dosing + integrative process, and supporting your during the integrating period to enhance the insights gained during the sessions into your daily life.

What is the structure of KAP Therapy.
First, an initial consultation is to discuss this form of therapy, expectations, answer any questions you may have, and assess if this approach is a good fit for you. After the consultation, you will schedule an appointment with a qualified medical prescriber for a medical evaluation and the development of a treatment planning to determine eligibility. KAP Treatment consists of three main components: preparation, dosing, and integration. Preparation involves 45-50 minute psychotherapy sessions focused on setting goals and building therapeutic trust. Dosing sessions are 3-hour experiences for intention setting and guided support during medication administration, followed by integration sessions to process and consolidate the experience. The typical treatment plan includes 3-5 preparation sessions, 4-6 dosing sessions, and integration sessions in between, spanning over 2-3 months with follow-up appointments as needed.
