Intensive Psychotherapy

For Adults, Couples & Persons in Multiple Relationships

What is intensive psychotherapy?

Intensive psychotherapy is a relatively short-term dynamic psychotherapy that gives clients faster results and full resolution for sudden or persistent issues in a short period of time. Intensive psychotherapy is a revolutionary approach that provides immediate relief from suffering, symptom relief, and a thorough understanding of oneself. An intensive approach can function in ways that typical traditional therapy approaches lack. An intensive session allows you to access considerably more personal material, which can be processed and repaired much faster than in traditional weekly therapy.

How can intensive help individuals?

Individual intensive psychotherapy provides a focused, accelerated environment to address deep emotional pain, process trauma, and develop stabilization strategies. This approach integrates brain-body therapies, offering clients an opportunity to reconnect with themselves, reprocess painful memories, and regain emotional stability before continuing regular therapy. Using brain-body therapy modalities for "rewiring" and changing the neurons in your brain. This unique strategy allows targeted and effective interventions to support your individual journey to well-being and growth. In the process, engage your body's physical feelings and sensations as well as your natural wisdom. Intensives are not just for targeting traumatic or distressing experiences, yet they can enhance emotional and psychological resilience, performance, and overall wellbeing.

How can intensives help relationships?

Relationships intensives can help relationships stabilize emotional distress, develop skills to reconnect, and create a framework for future relational growth. We will address deep-seated issues and promote relational healing. The goal is to prepare couples for continued work with their primary therapist or provide them with tools to support relationships post-intergration.

How are sessions scheduled? What are the expectations?

  • The work is definitely intensive and concentrated with rapid relief. Intensives are not appropriate for everyone, so I have planned free 30-minute virtual consultations to assess readiness for intensive work.

  • You schedule Intake & Assessment in addition to all intensive hours (which include 30-minute post-integration session)

  • The intensives are scheduled in blocks of 3 to 6 hour sessions at a time during a consecutive week. Afterwards, reassess the need for additional intensive hours.

  •

What is your cancellation policy?

When you schedule intensives, you secure dedicated time exclusively for your sessions, ensuring no other clients can book or replace that time available to you. A reschedule-only policy is in place to preserve the integrity of therapeutic practice. If you need to reschedule, please do so at least 48 hours before the scheduled time. Your deposit or payment will not be affected by rescheduling. If you decide to cancel your intensive session entirely, any deposits paid will be refunded less the scheduling fee.

Do you offer office sessions?

Currently, I offer primarily telehealth, with limited availability for in-office sessions (Mondays & Tuesdays only). At times, it may be recommended that you are best fit for in-office sessions and I will provide a referral when possible.
