(SHE/THEY)
ROOTS & IDENTITY
In my own words
I identify as a queer Caribbean-Indigenous woman — Taino/Arawak-Ayiti-Bohio. My identities and spiritual wellness are rooted in the revitalization, reclaiming, and remembering of my indigenous cultures, practices, and wisdom.

My identity is inclusive of "we" — moving through the world in deep connection with Creator, land, and my dual energy. I hold my lineage not as history but as living presence. The ancestors who have come before me, the elders I am still learning from — they are woven into everything I bring into the room.

I give thanks to my aging elders, the ancestors who have come before me. I give thanks to my lineage, my passages, and my rebirth. I am my mothers' and forebearers' realization. May the universe always be in my favor.
With gratitude and rootedness —
Arikoma bu,

CLINICAL BACKGROUND
Over 13 years of experience
Viergelyn has over thirteen years of experience in the fields of clinical mental health counseling, psychology, clinical assessment, consulting, and facilitation.
She is a licensed mental health counselor, expressive arts therapist, and clinical supervisor and considers herself an integrative, depth-oriented psychotherapist.

Her work is grounded in the conviction that healing is multidimensional—that it happens at the intersection of the psychological, the somatic, the spiritual, and the relational. She does not separate culture or self-identity from clinical work.

Culture, ancestry, embodiment, and community are not backdrop; they are the terrain.

In addition to her private practice, Viergelyn provides community group coaching and specialized workshops, as well as clinical and comprehensive mental health assessments, risk assessments, and diagnostic consultations. These services support informed choice-making and are offered to individuals, couples, families, and organizations.

She holds a special interest in working with underrepresented, under-invested, and marginalized communities — including BIPOC individuals, the LGBTQIAS2+ community, and those in expansive relationship structures. She also has extensive experience working with military service members, veterans, and their families.

As an Adjunct Professor, Viergelyn bridges academic and applied clinical training — mentoring the next generation of therapists with the same integrative, culturally grounded perspective she brings to all of her work.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION & CONSULTATION
A space for your whole clinical self
I offer clinical supervision, consultations, and mentorship specifically designed for pre-licensed, newly licensed, and seasoned therapists who are looking to deepen their practice through a culturally affirming, holistic, and relational lens.
Whether you're building your foundational clinical identity, refining a specialization, or navigating the complexity of private practice—this work meets you exactly where you are. Not where a rubric says you should be.
My approach draws on more than twelve years of clinical experience, Brainspotting certification, expressive arts therapy, and an intersectional, trauma-informed framework. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all supervision. I believe in supervision that sees you.
I HAVE A SPECIAL INTEREST IN WORKING WITH
-

-
Clinicians pursuing Brainspotting certification
-
Afro-, Indigenous, and Latine/Caribbean-identified therapists
-
Therapists transitioning into solo or group private practice
-
